Who's Who - Stephanie Thomas
| Stephanie Thomas is a qualified Librarian and was a member of NALGO, one of the predecessor trade unions and has been an activist
since 1979. Stephanie joined the UNISON staff in 1982 as a Branch
Administrator and has held a number of roles within UNISON. |

| In 1991 she was appointed as one of the first Regional Women’s Officers within UNISON which involved encouraging women’s participation
in the union as well as advising on sex discrimination and equal pay issues. Stephanie was subsequently appointed as a Regional Officer working alongside our members in the NHS and since 2003 has been an
Operational Manager, managing the Cheshire and Merseyside area of our Region and also leads for the North West on developing and
implementing UNISON’s strategy on healthcare.
