Who's Who - Diane Kelly

Diane Kelly works in Local Government on Merseyside and has been seconded to her local branch of 6000 members as Assistant Branch Secretary since 1996. This allows her to represent and negotiate on behalf of the membership.

Since 2003 with the support of the activists back at her branch, Diane has led the regional team of activists.
UNISON represents 200,000 members in the Region across all Service Groups and we work in partnership with our full time officers to deliver the four union objectives.

Diane also works closely with Regional Convenors in the eleven other UNISON regions of the UK.

UNISON’s international work is of great interest to Diane and she values learning from other trade unions.

Diane does have other interests but trade unionism is top of her list.

Fortunately Diane has friends and, more importantly, family who support her.
