Life Long Learning and Member Development

Organising, Representation and Bargaining

This is a two day course for experienced UNISON reps. Participants will be able to:

  • Gather and identify the concerns of workers
  • Analyse and prepare claims involving members
  • Conduct negotiations with at employer level
  • Devise and monitor a Branch case management system
  • Understand aspects of UNISON’s computerised CASE management system

In addition a member of the regional casework team will visit the course to clarify procedures and protocols for handling cases in the North West.
