Who's Who - Tony Caffery

Tony Caffery is Branch Secretary of Manchester Local Government Branch, the second largest Branch in the North West Region with over 10,000 members.

Tony started his trade union career as a NALGO steward in Manchester markets, quickly becoming a full time seconded Branch Officer with particular responsibility for Best Value.

He is currently the Chair of the North West Regional Committee, a member of the Local Government Service Group Standing Orders Committee on behalf of the North West, a member of the Regional Labour Link Committee and a life time member of the Labour Party.
